We’re not on shelves just yet. For now, you can shop every Sessy product right here at eatsessy.com.
We’d love to hear from you. Email hello@eatsessy.com and tell us a bit about your store.
It’s on the milder side, more smoky than fiery. We’d call it about a 1 out of 4 on the pepper scale.
Every Sessy staple is made in Korea in partnership with Sempio, Korea’s oldest food brand established 1946.
Sessy Soy Sauce: 250 mL (8.45 fl oz)
Sessy Sesame Oil: 250 mL
Sessy Gochujang: 250 g
Soy Sauce: once opened, keep it in a cool, dark pantry or the fridge for maximum flavor (best within 24 months).
Sesame Oil: the same, a cool, dark pantry or the fridge (best within 24 months).
Gochujang: refrigerate after opening (best within 18 months).
Totally normal. Sessy’s Sesame Oil is cold-pressed, so it can turn cloudy or develop a little crystallization when it’s cold. That is a sign of a pure, minimally processed oil, not a defect. Let the bottle sit at room temperature and it will clear right back up.
We purposely chose a product line that forms the basis of Korean cuisine and are pantry staples, so they are endlessly versatile – from stir-fries and marinades to finishing drizzles and fried rice. You’ll find recipe inspiration from Chef Esther on our blog and social, as well as on each product page.
We’re committed to sustainable packaging. Our shipping boxes and the Korean Pantry Essentials box are 100% recyclable. Please rinse the Gochujang tub and the Soy Sauce and Sesame Oil bottles before recycling.
On each product page, click the “Ingredients” tab for full nutrition and ingredient details.
We keep our ingredient lists short. Our Soy Sauce is made with organic soybeans and is non-GMO. Our Gochujang is vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. Our Sesame Oil is 100% pure cold-pressed sesame. Full details live on each product page.
Our Gochujang is vegan. Our Soy Sauce and Sesame Oil are made from plant-based ingredients, but we don’t carry a formal vegan claim on them, so we let the ingredient list (on each product page) speak for itself. If you have a specific dietary need, email orders@eatsessy.com and we’ll help.
