Level Up Your Hand Taste Giveaway: Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PRE-ORDER IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PRE-ORDER DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Eligibility: The Level Up Your Hand Taste Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories) who are at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) at the time of entry. The Giveaway is sponsored by the entity named in Section 16 (the “Sponsor”) and hosted by Chef Esther Choi. Prizes are provided by Sessy, HexClad, Messermeister, Lettuce Grow, Cuckoo, and Pulmuone (each, a “Participating Brand”). Not eligible: Chef Esther Choi; the employees, officers, directors, and contractors of the Sponsor, each Participating Brand, and Chef Esther Choi's restaurants and management; their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies; and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each of them. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
2. Agreement to Rules: By entering, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements. The Sponsor's decisions on all matters relating to the Giveaway are final and binding. If these Official Rules conflict with any advertising or social media post about the Giveaway, these Official Rules control.
3. Giveaway Period: Entries will be accepted online starting October 16, 2026 at 3:00:00 PM and ending October 26, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM (the “Giveaway Period”). All online entries must be received by the end of the Giveaway Period. All times are Eastern Time. The Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway.
4. How to Enter: To enter, complete the official online entry form (linked from the Giveaway posts and from the page where these Official Rules are posted) during the Giveaway Period, including your name and email address, and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements and agree to these Official Rules. Purchasing or pre-ordering Hand Taste is not required to enter or win and does not increase your chances of winning. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. Entries made with multiple email addresses, identities, or devices, or through bots, scripts, or other automated means, will be disqualified. Incomplete entries, or entries that do not follow these rules, may be disqualified at the Sponsor's sole discretion. In a dispute over who submitted an entry, the entry is deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address entered.
5. Prizes: Four (4) winners will be selected. Each winner will receive one (1) of the following prize packages (each shown with its approximate retail value, or “ARV”), awarded in the order winners are drawn (the first eligible winner drawn receives Prize Package 1, the second receives Prize Package 2, and so on):
- Prize Package 1: Pulmuone Kimchi Fridge 52L + one (1) Sessy Essentials Set (ARV: $908)
- Prize Package 2: Cuckoo 6-Cup IH Twin Pressure Rice Cooker (ARV: $560)
- Prize Package 3: HexClad Hybrid Fry Pan Set with Lids (6 pc) + one (1) Sessy Essentials Set (ARV: $438)
- Prize Package 4: Messermeister Avanta Damascus Knife Block Set (10 pc) + Messermeister Esther Choi Push Button Take-Apart Precision Shears (7") + Lettuce Grow Counterstand Set (ARV: $659)
The total ARV of all prizes is approximately $2,565. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household. Each prize item will be shipped directly to the winner by the Participating Brand that provided it, to a street address in the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia (no P.O. boxes), within approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks after the winner is confirmed. The Sponsor is not responsible for prizes lost or damaged in transit. Prizes are nontransferable and no cash equivalent is available. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are awarded “as is.” Neither the Sponsor nor Chef Esther Choi makes any warranty, express or implied, regarding any prize; any warranty is provided solely by the prize manufacturer, and winners agree to look only to the manufacturer for warranty service. Prize food products contain common food allergens; read product labels before use.
6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Selection and Notification: Four (4) winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about October 27, 2026, under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via email to the email address used to enter within five (5) days following the winner selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk email or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or does not reply within seven (7) days after the notification is sent to confirm eligibility and provide a shipping address (and, if the Sponsor requests it, a signed declaration of eligibility), the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible entries. A winner who violates these Official Rules, as determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified.
8. Taxes: Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on their prize, which is taxable income at its ARV. If required by law, a winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded and will receive an IRS Form 1099.
9. Marketing Emails: By entering, you agree to receive marketing emails from the Sponsor, from Chef Esther Choi, and from each Participating Brand (HexClad, Messermeister, Lettuce Grow, Cuckoo, Sessy, and Pulmuone). Each sender's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, and each sender is solely responsible for its own emails. You can opt out at
any time using the unsubscribe link in any email; opting out of one sender does not opt you out of the others. No text messages or phone calls will be sent in connection with the Giveaway.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, accepting a prize grants the Sponsor, Chef Esther Choi, and the Participating Brand that provided the winner's prize permission to use the winner's name, city, and state for advertising and promotion of the Giveaway for twelve (12) months after the drawing, without further compensation. Any use of a winner's photograph, video, voice, or likeness requires the winner's separate written consent.
11. Sponsor's Rights: The Sponsor may, subject to applicable law, cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond its control affects its fair administration. In that case, winners may be selected from eligible entries received before the action. Notice of any such action will be posted where these Official Rules are posted. The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Chef Esther Choi, each Participating Brand, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (the “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) your participation in the Giveaway and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway; or (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries. This release does not apply to claims arising from a Released Party's gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any liability that cannot be released under applicable law.
13. Disputes: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Giveaway, participants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before the state or federal courts located in New York City, New York. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Giveaway), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
14. Privacy: The Sponsor collects the name and email address you submit (and, for winners, a shipping address) to administer the Giveaway, deliver prizes, and send the emails described in
Section 9. Information Sessy receives as a Participating Brand is subject to Sessy's privacy policy at https://eatsessy.com/policies/privacy-policy. Entrant information will also be shared with Chef Esther Choi and the Participating Brands for prize fulfillment and marketing as described in Section 9, and with service providers that help run the Giveaway (such as the entry form and email platforms). Each Participating Brand's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy. To ask the Sponsor to delete your information, email the address in Section 15.
15. Winners List: To request the names of the winners, email pr@mokbar.com with "Level Up Your Hand Taste Winners List" in the subject line after October 27, 2026 and before December 31, 2026.
16. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Giveaway is Seoul Delish, LLC d/b/a Mokbar, 212 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, USA.
17. Platforms and Publisher: This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Google. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Google. Each entrant completely releases Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, and Google from any liability relating to the Giveaway. Hand Taste is published by Voracious, part of Hachette Book Group, Inc. Neither Voracious nor Hachette Book Group, Inc. is a sponsor of the Giveaway.
18. General: If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The Sponsor's failure to enforce any term is not a waiver of that term.
